Madrid gay bars with dark rooms

Strong Center

The dancefloor at the Strong Center is a forlorn, empty place. Don't dismay, however, as no one comes here for the music, and you're just about to uncover Spain's biggest and most labyrinthine darkroom, where you can lose yourself among hundreds of hot, horny men.

Even so, the exclude fills up every weekend with an atmosphere eager to hear what the DJ will spin, which is almost always electro or house music. The place has a lugubrious, even tawdry air, but there’s hardly a queer person in Madrid who hasn’t had a refreshment here at some time.

THE BEST GAY CLUBS AND BARS IN MADRID

Madrid is known as one of the most gay-friendly capitals in the world, with Chueca as the epicenter of the scene and with Gay Pride Madrid.  It would be unforgivable not to visit one (or several!) bars on this list. Whether you are shy or extroverted, one of these gay clubs in Madrid is made for you. Retain reading if you wish to meet people, acquire a drink, dance, or find your next lover!

MEDIAS PURI

Plaza de Tirso de Molina, 1

It opened as a &#;clandestine club&#; a couple of years ago, but today it’s not a secret venue at all. It is on everyone&#;s lips and leads Madrid’s night scene. The concept is as follows: you enter in what it seems to be the entrance to a haberdashery store and you end up in a big club with 3 environments: the Central Area with dance-electronic music and rock & roll; the Black Room with mind, funk, and R&B music; and the Apotheke, with disco music of the ‘80s and a carefully crafted menu of signature cocktails.

But the thing that draws the attention to this club is not its varied music but its live shows (acrobatics included!) The admission ticket is expensive for the average in Madrid (€20 with a d

When in Madrid, Do as the Gays &#; Foremost 12 Gay Bars in Chueca

In Spain, there’s a rather quirky little verb, “trasnochar,” which loosely translates to ‘party through the night.’ This gives you a good indication of Spain’s all-in attitude to nightlife. Drinking with your friends on a sunny terrace or in a charismatic, lively bar is inherent to Spanish customs, and naturally, Spain’s capital city is the finest place to dive headfirst—or any other body part first—into it. Nowhere is this truer than in Madrid’s gay neighborhood of Chueca, where you are never at a decrease to find a place to have a refreshment, with a myriad of different gay bars to choose from all through the week—especially on the weekend.

Each bar has its own distinct character, so here are twelve of the crème de la crème to visit on any alcohol-fueled trip to Chueca—whether as the main event, part of a bar crawl, or a precursor to a uncontrolled night destined to conclude with a drunken 7 a.m. club exit.

El 12

If there is a block that most epitomizes the spirit of Chueca, El 12 is it. Part bar, part club, it is one of the most popular bars in Chueca. You can detect all types of Gay people here, from bears to twinks to musc

Madrid is society renowned for its same-sex attracted scene, and in reality hosts one of the largest gay prides in the world. It should come as no surprise that there are so many gay bars in Madrid as well as regular gay events and parties. [no_toc]

Where to detect the gay bars and clubs in Madrid – Chueca

The main gay area in Madrid is called Chueca and is named after Federico Chueca who could be considered Madrids first gay icon.

The area spans about 1km north of Gran Via (one of the main streets) and east to west between Calle Hortaleza and Paseo de Recoletos. The main bulk of male lover bars in Chueca are found within ten minutes walking distance of Plaza De Chueca – where the metro station is found.

Chueca is walkable from the ‘city centre’ (Plaza Del Sol) or just a couple of metro stops.

It is obvious you have arrived in the gay district given that the walls of the metro station in Chueca are painted floor to ceiling
