Most of these characters only have stubs of Wookieepedia pages. If you are a Wookieepedia contributor, please expand them. It would also be great to have a Wookieepedia category for all of the canonically queer characters.

Kaeden Larte from the novel Ahsoka is bisexual. Kaeden is a farmer turned rebel who worked closely with Ahsoka and fell in adoration with her. In the book it was a bit ambiguous if Kaeden is lesbian/bi/pan/etc., but EK Johnston confirmed on her Tumblr that Kaeden is bi. Our Kaeden tag is here, EK’s is here. Hopefully we’ll see Kaeden again!
Sinjir Rath Velus from the Aftermath trilogy is gay. Sinjir is an Imperial defector who becomes involved with the Rebel Alliance on the planet Akiva. Aftermath is the first of a trilogy, and the storyteller Chuck Wendig says that Sinjir’s orientation will be explored further in the unwind of the trilogy
The Queer Coding of Ahsoka Tano
In my review for “Gone with a Trace,” I mentioned how incredibly queer the episode was. I also speculated if Clone Wars was moving to make Ahsoka Tano canonically queer.
This is all speculation at the moment. These thoughts reach from years of brain canoning with the nature. In my post about what Orka and Flix from Star Wars Resistance means to me, I mentioned that I contain always seen Ashoka organism coded as bisexual/pansexual and asexual. I can also see Ahsoka being Demisexual too.
I just threw out a bunch of sexualities, so let me simplify it:
To me, I watch that Ahsoka likes all genders (Bi/Pan), she doesn’t feel sexual attraction to people (Aesexual), and/or she is only sexually attracted once she gets to know someone (Demisexual).
I’ve idea this about her for a long time as a way to figure out my sexuality as a queer woman. I’ve always had to top canon this, because we never had confirmation of Ahsoka’s sexuality. That is until I saw “Gone with a Trace” from the newest season of Clone Wars. I was floored by how incredibly queer it was. I’ve never seen Star Wars come across this gender non-conforming. Not even in Resistance where t
Star Wars: Tales Of The Jedi Swaps Out Queer Character From Ahsoka's Story
Star Wars fans are upset that a Black homosexual woman from the Ahsoka novel was replaced by a nameless white dude in Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi.
For those who don't contain Disney+, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi basically tells the story of how Ahsoka Tano became a Jedi while Reckon Dooku became a Sith lord. There are a bunch of other Jedi in there too since it all takes place during the prequel trilogy, filling in various aspects of both characters.

The last episode of the series, titled "Resolve," feature Ahsoka on the run from the Empire after surviving Order 66. The episode is largely based on the 2016 novel Ahsoka by author E. K. Johnston. In both the story and the episode, Ahsoka retreats to an agricultural planet where she's eventually forced to out herself as a Jedi in order to defend some helpless villagers. This gets the Empire's Sith Inquisitors involved, with Ahsoka fighting them off to eventually join the rebellion.
However, the story and the episode diverge on one of the characters that help keep Ahsoka's identity under wraps. In the book
'Tales of the Jedi' Left Out This Crucial Gender non-conforming Character From Ahsoka's Novel
The Star Warscanon is expansive and expansive, and prefer any fictional universe, it’s bound to not always sync up entirely. As fans of Marvel, DC, Star Trek, or Doctor Who know, keeping a fictional timeline together without any errors can be challenging. However, the choices made when bringing certain storylines to life signal the direction that the franchise is headed. When storylines featuring underrepresented characters are treated as “less important,” it does not indicate that the franchise is interested in modernizing itself and reaching out to all fans. A recent controversy emerged in the Star Wars universe due to rewriting of Ahsoka Tano’s (Ashley Eckstein) character arc in the new Disney+ anthology series Tales of the Jedi.
Tales of the Jedi is composed of six episodes and shows “previously unexplored” moments from the lives of Ahsoka and Dooku (Corey Burton). The ultimate episode of the series, “Resolve,” follows Ahsoka in the aftermath of Padmé Amidala’s (Catherine Taber) funeral, where she hides out in a small vill
