Zoro gay

“I need a date.”

Sanji’s head bats endorse and forth between the kitchen and the galley. He’s got Zoro pressed up against a wall, forcefully, unlike whatever ballad and dance Zoro was playing with the rando outside. Sanji fists Zoro’s long coat and looks him dead in the eyes. Well, eye.

Zoro blinks owlishly at him, the vein clear on his forehead for all of a second while he processes Sanji’s declaration. “You want to date me?”

“What? No—” Sanji could vomit from the absurdity. He’s one step away from strangling Zoro with his own haramaki. His cheeks burn, and even he knows how stupid he sounds, but there isn’t a universe out there that exists where he sounds dumber than Mosshead. So, his jaw tightens. “If we do this, I need a date.”

“Okay,” Zoro says, “so, fancy , a fluffer—?”

“NO!”

Zoro says they can fuck around so long as they don't make it weird. They both, of course, proceed to make it weird.

Well to me a character’s sexuality is really just a headcanon and I guess, doesn’t really need ‘facts’ to justify. Do I think Zoro is same-sex attracted in canon? I express, it’s never really been stated that he’s vertical, and many many times when women (Hiyori for example) hit on him he just doesn’t protect but at the identical time it’s never stated that he’s gay either.

I do like to consider of Zoro as male lover because I just, idk how to describe it, he radiates such sturdy mlm energy like how Nami radiates strong wlw energy to me. I like to ship him with different characters including Sanji, Luffy and Statute but that doesn’t signify you have to as well! 

In all honestly, he’s been canonically written to just not interested in anyone romantically. But I do think some scenes can be interpreted differently than that of canon just because of how they’re presented. I recognize there’s many people who ship him with Robin

Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else thinks that certain characters could be seen as gay, even by looking at reasons that don't really matter. :happy:

Awhile ago, my friend and I were discussing One Piece, and out of the blue I just said "Zoro's gay." I can't really remember why I said that, but from then on I've had this ongoing debate with her on why I think Zoro is the gay Strawhat member. Some of my arguments included:

1. He's threatened by women. He runs away from Tashigi, he hates getting blackmailed by Nami, and he's apprehensive of Robin.

2. Whenever Sanji flirts, he says something. It's like he's jealous that Sanji doesn't give him that kind of attention.

3. Remember in Alabasta when Sanji asked the girls to call him "prince" and swore that he'll protect them? And then Zoro called him "Prince?"

4. The whole fact that he's constantly "penetrated" by other guys' swords could be seen as some psycho-Freudian symbolism. Also, he's obsessed with Mihawk, who had a HUGE sword.

5. He calls Sanji a "pretty eyebrow." :huh:

6. He's a real man's human (I know, this is a stupid argument).

7. He hung around with Johnny
