Sexuality is no exception. Sexuality can be a lifelong discovery, and something that takes time to fully understand, particularly for women who realize they aren’t straight later in being. It can be confusing, especially as an grown-up to be questioning your sexuality and wondering if all these years you somehow missed something large about yourself. You are not alone. Here are seven common signs that you may not be straight, even if you discover and accept it later in life.

 1. Direct girls don’t lie alert at night wondering if they are gay.

This may seem obvious, but people who aren’t attracted to the same sex, don’t usually worry about whether or not they are gay or bisexual. They don’t even think about experiencing attraction or sexual experiences beyond hetero experiences, so there is nothing to question. Or if

We all know the stereotypes: an unusually light, delicate, effeminate air in a tiny boy's step, an interest in dolls, makeup, princesses and dresses, and a strong distaste for harsh play with other boys. In little girls, there is the outwardly boyish stance, perhaps a penchant for tools, a square-jawed readiness for physical tussles with boys, and an aversion to all the perfumed, delicate trappings of femininity.

These behavioral patterns are feared, loathed and often spoken of directly as harbingers of adult homosexuality. It is only relatively recently, however, that developmental scientists have conducted managed studies to identify the earliest and most faithful signs of adult homosexuality. How Do I Know If I Am Gay? Signs You Are Gay

Particularly when young, some people may ask, "How do I know if I am gay?" if they contain conflicting sexual feelings. When it comes down to it, there is no reliable "Am I Homosexual test", so the only way to know that you are gay (definition of gay) is to look within yourself to determine your own thoughts and feelings towards others of the same sex. You might also crave to consider the possibility that you are neither gay nor straight and are bisexual or just curious.

There are also signs that you might be gay to consider.

Signs You Are Gay

There is no one way that lgbtq+ people act or watch – gay people are just as diverse as straight people. Just because you are a bloke who is effeminate or a woman who is boyish, that does not mean that you're necessarily gay. So don't plummet into the trap of thinking that your clothes, hair or attitude determines your sexuality.

When looking at the signs you are gay, you might wish to ask yourself these questions:1

  • Have I ever been sexually attracted to the same sex?
  • Do I touch strong emotional bonds to the same sex?
  • Am I physically attracted to the same sex?
  • Have I considered having a sexual relatio
